Description of the service

Investment Coach provides educational and informational company analysis. Users can search listed companies, view scores generated from predefined methodologies and financial data, read plain-English explanations, compare companies, explore historical score timelines, and optionally use an AI mentor that discusses the same educational analysis.

The product currently has no user accounts, no subscriptions, and no portfolio or brokerage features.

Educational and informational purpose

The service is provided for learning and information only. Content is intended to help users understand how businesses and financial metrics can be described using a rules-based framework.

Nothing on the service is an offer, solicitation, or invitation to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial product.

No financial advice

Investment Coach does not provide personal financial product advice, tax advice, legal advice, or investment advice.

Content is general in nature. It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation, or needs.

No buy, sell, or hold recommendations

Company scores, grades, narratives, comparisons, timelines, and AI mentor replies are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold securities.

Do not treat a higher or lower score as a signal to transact.

User responsibility

You are responsible for how you use the information on this service.

You should conduct your own research and consider obtaining advice from a licensed professional before making any financial decision.

Data accuracy limitations

Financial data may contain errors, delays, omissions, or inconsistencies. Scores depend on that data and on predefined rules.

Confidence scores describe how complete the underlying data appears to be. They are not a guarantee that the data is correct.

Third-party data sources

Company fundamentals are fetched at analysis time from third-party market data (currently Yahoo Finance via the backend). Search catalogs may be refreshed from public listed-company sources.

If you use the optional AI mentor, prompts and packaged analysis context may be sent to a third-party language-model provider (currently OpenAI, when configured).

We do not control third-party availability, accuracy, or terms.

Product analytics

By agreeing to these Terms you also agree that we may collect anonymous product analytics so we can improve the educational experience.

Those events can include pages viewed, searches, selected market, ticker symbols analysed or compared, which lessons and metric explanations you open, scroll depth, device class, and similar usage signals. They do not include your name or email. A random identifier may be stored in the browser.

Analysing a company always sends the ticker to our backend so scores can be generated. That request is part of using the service, not only analytics.

You can later withdraw analytics (while keeping these Terms) from Privacy choices in the footer. Details of what is recorded are in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The Investment Coach name, branding, layout, scoring presentation, educational copy, and software are owned by Javier Navarrete or used under licence.

You may use the service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service.

• Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt availability, or overload the API.
• Do not use the service to provide regulated financial advice to others as if it were your own licensed product.
• Do not misrepresent scores or narratives as personal recommendations or guaranteed outcomes.
• Do not use automated harvesting in a way that harms the service or third-party data providers.

Website availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features without notice.

Third-party data outages may prevent company analysis from completing.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for investment losses, trading decisions, or reliance on scores, narratives, or AI mentor output. Non-excludable consumer rights are not excluded.

Changes to the service

We may add markets, features, authentication, or paid plans later. Existing analysis methods may also change.

Material product changes will be reflected in the service itself. They may also require an updated acknowledgement if these terms change.

Changes to the terms

These terms are version 1.1. When the wording changes substantially, the version constant is updated and users who previously acknowledged an older version can be asked to acknowledge again.
